We decide why and how the personal data described below is used. In the language of the GDPR, we are the controller of that data.
Three groups of people: visitors to query.com.ua, people who write to us through the site or request a call back, and business representatives we contact by email about our services.
What we hold: the name, email address, phone number and message you sent us. If you requested a call back, the phone number you left and the time of the request.
Why: to answer you and, if it goes that way, to discuss and carry out work together.
On what basis: your request and the steps leading up to a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long: while the conversation is live, and up to 24 months after it ends. Then we delete it.
We write to businesses whose work suggests they may need what we do. If you received such an email from us, this section explains where your details came from.
What we hold: your name and job title where they are published, your business email address, the company name, its website and country. Nothing else — no private addresses, no personal phone numbers, no special categories of data.
Where we got it: publicly accessible business sources — the company's own website and its published contact pages, and public business directories. We do not buy contact lists.
Why: to introduce our SEO and web development services once, and to follow up at most once more.
On what basis: our legitimate interest in direct business-to-business marketing (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We weighed that interest against your privacy: we use only business contact details, published for exactly this kind of contact; we write at most twice; and you can stop it at any time.
How long: until you object. Otherwise no longer than 12 months after the last email, and then we delete it.
How to stop it: reply to the email — one word is enough — or use the unsubscribe link in it, or write to make@query.com.ua. We act on it immediately. We keep your email address on a suppression list for one reason only: so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
Cookies are small text files that the site, or a service running on it, stores in your browser. Below is what we set and why.
The site sets the cookies it needs to work: keeping your session, protecting forms against request forgery, and remembering your language choice. The site does not work without them, so they cannot be turned off. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Google Analytics 4. We use it to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It sets cookies and records your approximate location, your device and browser, and the pages you open. Google acts as our processor for this. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity. We use it to see where visitors click and how far they scroll. It reconstructs the session from page interactions — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling — and masks what you type into fields. Microsoft acts as our processor for this.
Both are used to understand how the site is used, on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build marketing profiles of visitors.
Google Search Console. We also use Search Console, which shows us aggregated search statistics for the site. It sets no cookies in your browser and does not identify individual visitors.
The site runs a call-back widget provided by Binotel. It sets its own cookies to remember the state of the widget and your activity on the site, so the form is not shown to you again. If you leave a phone number in it, that number reaches us through Binotel so that we can call you back. Binotel acts as our processor for this. If you do not use the widget, it collects no phone number.
Our hosting provider keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, time of request) for a limited period, for security and troubleshooting. These are not cookies: the log is kept by the server, not by your browser.
This list reflects the site as at the date at the top of this page. Lifetimes for third-party cookies are set by those services and may change without notice to us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but analytics will stop counting you and the call-back widget may forget its state. Google Analytics can also be refused separately, through Google's official add-on. Most browsers also offer a mode in which cookies are deleted when you close the window.

Only service providers acting on our instructions: our hosting provider in Ukraine, Google (Google Workspace for our mailboxes, Google Analytics and Search Console for the site), Microsoft (Clarity), Binotel (the call-back widget and telephony), and the provider we use to deliver email. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We are based in Ukraine, and some of our providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict what we do with it. You can ask for it in a portable form. You can object to our processing — and where the processing is direct marketing, that objection is absolute: we stop, no questions asked.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
